I can't believe I get to spend so much time with my daughter!
It really has been a treat, we travel together, train together and ski together, what else can a father ask for?
We have been all over North America for skiing, Whiteface in New York, Mount Saint Anne in Quebec, Winter Park in Colorado and of course one of my favourite experiences Ski Portillo in Chile (even though is not North America) for training in the summer.
in 2017 I had the honour of guiding Brenda for the Canadian and U.S. Para Nationals, where we won the Female Visually impaired category in GS & Slalom.
Being a guide is a bit tricky, you have to keep on skiing and looking over your shoulder to see how far she is and make the necessary adjustments, and even though it is always fun to guide a race it is also nerve wracking, one wrong turn and we could be disqualified!
We are training hard both on snow and at the gym to get to the 2019 Canada Games.
